I Am Malala

(NTB Scanpix) Malala Yousafzai is a girl from Pakistan who has been forced to become a refugee in Britain due to extraordinary events. In an incomprehensible act of violence, the Taliban shot this 15-year-old girl for wanting an education.

Malala survived the attack after treatment in hospitals in Pakistan and in Birmingham, England. Like many others, Malala has become an unwilling refugee, forced from the country she loves by political persecution and cruel fate. Her story has moved an entire world.
