I Have a Dream
In 1963, Martin Luther King, Jr., a Baptist minister from Montgomery, Alabama, addressed a crowd of 250,000 people assembled in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., to protest the continued oppression of blacks. His speech has become one of the most famous in American history and remains an inspiration for those fighting injustice and prejudice.
