The Natural by Joe Kelin is about Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton’s successful campaign for the presidency against Republican George H. Bush in 1992. Klein followed Clinton from the early primaries through the election itself. Presidential campaigns are packed full of energy, drama and personality. The candidates have to work themselves to the bone to gain the public trust. In the end, it is the individual qualities of the candidates themselves that may determine the outcome.
